Career Opportunity

A career with Able Path is incredibly rewarding as you are truly helping someone live their best life possible.

If you are kind, caring, and nurturing at heart and yearn to feel inspired and challenged in a role that is ever-changing with no two days the same, then we would love to hear from you.

Our approach is highly specialized, meaning the support and care we provide are entirely dependent on each individual client. The overarching purpose of what we do, however, is alleviating physical discomfort and promoting social connectedness, independence, and emotional health and wellbeing.

A day in the life with Able Path is incredibly colorful and may involve:

  1. Helping clients develop skills that inspire them and allow them to live as independently as possible.
  2. Participating in outings and attending social activities with clients.
  3. Carrying out household tasks such as planning, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, and shopping.
  4. Being a supportive companion and helping clients with their daily activities.
  5. Helping clients maintain contact with their family and friends
  6. Assisting clients to develop and maintain independence and safety in personal care, health care, and hygiene.

The Disability Workers Industry is currently experiencing significant growth, largely driven by Australia’s aging population and the implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). According to the Department of Education, Skills, and Employment, there will be approximately 245,000 jobs Australia-wide by 2023. If job security is important to you, this is an industry that can offer you reliability, stability, and room for growth.

Being a part of nurturing and encouraging more well-supported, independent, and inspired people living with disabilities is highly fulfilling. In the disability services industry, you have a profound impact on the quality of people’s lives who are truly worthy. Every day is an opportunity to empower someone, teach new skills, and garner newfound confidence so they are equipped to live as independently as possible.

Perhaps you have always found yourself adopting a caregiver role with those around you, or maybe you are drawn to motivating and inspiring others and thrive on social interactions. A career with Able Path may be the perfect avenue for you to combine those skills while positively changing the lives of very deserving members of your community.
